A sudden sunray, the fragrance of the vegetation and the rolling hills of the beautiful Chianti countryside where I live, near Florence in Tuscany, Italy, provide me with continuous inspiration. I enjoy changing my style and subjects from landscapes, medieval towns and urban views to flowers, people or abstractions.

Making art and painting watercolours is a daily adventure and exploration.
My style is loose and colourful, and the process is an important part of my work. I love experimenting and enjoy observing the pigments as they mix on the wet paper. I'm very happy to share my passion and experience when my paintings find their way to your home, or by teaching watercolour workshops.
